#2)In your profile you said that you're a Christian. Were you raised that way or did you commit as an adult?

ANSWER:
I was raised in church but rejected it heavily as a teen and in my early 20's. I started going to church again in 2002 after my grandpa passed away. I was touched deeply at that time of my life and had lots of questions about life and God. I didn't understand a lot of things about the Bible and having an actual relationship with God. When I was young I never really read the Bible. I just went to Sunday school and learned the absolute basics ( Noah, Abraham, Daniel and that Jesus loved me). I had no idea what the Bible actually said or why Jesus loved me. Now I know and I am thankful and I love him too. It's been something to adjust to at times, professing my faith. People think you're crazy or belong to a cult or that you're going to thump them with a Bible! LOL! I decided though that I love God more than I do people and so I don't care anymore what someone might think. I choose him.

Sorry to be nosey, I was just interested. Sounds a little similar to my life. Isn't it amazing once you have children of your own how much your thinking changes & of course maturity. I just pray that my children never go through that stage and that they always have a desire in their heart to serve the Lord. Know what I mean? Of course my parents probably prayed for the same thing!
Oh well! God is still in control!! Thank Goodness!

I didn't think it was nosey at all. Yes I totally know what you mean about skipping that phase. I pray that for my kids too. I know that my parents prayed that! They do remind me of that every now and again! LOL!
